Social Security - Benefits for Ministers

Many ministers aren't fully maximizing their social security benefits.

Ministers are considered self-employed for social security coverage.  Some income, such as the value of a housing allowance,  is subject to SECA but not to income taxes.  By claiming the maximum value of housing allowances,  ministers can significantly increase the value of social security benefits while not paying income tax on most or all of the value of housing.
